Required Qualifications: A directly related diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications to support effective communication, documentation, and scheduling within the care environment. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and an approach that is compassionate, patient, and respectful.
Preferred Qualifications:Recreation Therapy Assistant Diploma is preferred. Eligible to obtain a valid Class 4 driver’s license, this must be clearly demonstrated this within the resume or cover letter. Recent experience supporting recreational programming in long term care, supportive living or assisted living. Experience with Connect Care.
