Required Qualifications: Baccalaureate in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or a related field required. Registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association is required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:One year experience in a hospital setting. Previous experience with a mental health population desired. Creative abilities in recreational activities. Able to work independently. Familiar with a variety of social/leisure, arts/crafts and sporting activities. Strong written and verbal skills. Able to foster positive and supportive environment for patients with mental illness. Able to liaise with community resources.
