Required Qualifications: Must be a registered apprentice, an Alberta-certified journeyperson or hold a valid recognized credential.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of three [3] yearsβ experience as a Journeyman Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic. Must be able to perform a wide range of duties. Must be able to interpret blueprints and written specifications. Must possess a thorough knowledge of CSA refrigeration & HVAC codes. Must be familiar with Alberta Building, Plumbing & Electrical codes. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must be able to work independently. Must have good interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:HVAC Refrigeration Technician and/or Instrumentation certificates would be considered as assets.
