Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1-2 years recent Level 2 or 3 NICU experience. Breastfeeding Essentials training. Current NRP (must be maintained throughout employment). Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work within a multidisciplinary team. Must be adaptable to a rapidly changing environment and have strong organizational skills. Experience in caring for neonates or infants with fragile medical conditions. Must also meet the following requirements: Successfully pass the NICU Medication Administration exam done at the time of interview.
Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency with eCritical electronic charting system.
