Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:1-2 years of applicable medical/surgical/critical care experience (note: candidates with less experience may be considered). Ability to work in a fast paced, highly stressful environment.
Preferred Qualifications:1-2 years of ED experience in a large urban ED preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred. ENA Emergency Nursing Certificate preferred. Advanced practice courses (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ITLS, etc.) preferred. Intravenous (IV) certification preferred (required upon hire).
