Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent PeriOp nursing certificate. 1-2 years recent OR experience. Able to scrub, circulate, take Charge role. Able to work all shifts including on call after hours and weekends. Able to stand for long periods of time. Wear lead aprons for long periods of time. Able to lift 25 lbs frequently. Able to hold limbs x 10 min for prepping and draping. Able to lift overhead to position lights. Computer skills. Familiar with OR Manager and Connect Care online charting systems. Airway management skills. Able to respond to emergency situations for airway.
Preferred Qualifications:ACLS, PALS an asset. Recovery Room experience an asset. IV skills.
