Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent (within the past 2 years) critical care experience. Additional Required Qualifications: Completion of a Critical Care certificate or OPACCA (Critical Care Orientation Program) with 1 year of recent adult critical care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Minimum one year of previous Critical Care experience preferred. Charge Nurse experience preferred. Experience running on a code blue team preferred. Monitor training preferred. Up to date annual Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC) certification preferred. Advanced ECG interpretation skills preferred.
