Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Recent experience within the last 2 years in a high-volume, Urban Emergency department OR Recent ICU/CCU experience OR Two years Medical/Surgical/Labor and Delivery experience required. Excellent assessment and organizational skills required. Please be advised that this unit/program/office is participating in the initial pilot of the Trial of Modified Posting Provisions. Although this posting is scheduled to close at 23:59 of the posting end date indicated, the vacancy may be filled before that date if a Regular Employee who holds a position within this unit/program/office expresses an interest in the vacancy. Regular Employees who want to exercise their rights under the Trial of Modified Posting Provisions must do so by the deadline of 23:59 on the 5th calendar day following the posting date. Preferred Qualifications:

CTAS Triage experience preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred. Preference will be given to those with one or more of the following certifications: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, and EPIC. Experience and ability to work with cardiac monitors preferred. Dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation of ECG’s preferred. Experience with Connect Care EHR an asset.
