Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience within the last 2 years in a high-volume, Urban Emergency department OR Recent ICU/CCU experience OR Two years Medical/Surgical/Labor and Delivery experience required. Excellent assessment and organizational skills required. Please be advised that this unit/program/office is participating in the initial pilot of the Trial of Modified Posting Provisions. Preferred Qualifications:CTAS Triage experience preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred. Preference will be given to those with one or more of the following certifications: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, and EPIC. Experience and ability to work with cardiac monitors preferred. Dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation of ECG’s preferred. Experience with Connect Care EHR an asset.
