Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years recent endoscopy procedure experience required; recent critical care experience will be considered. Excellent assessment, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to provide patient teaching, in collaboration with physicians and surgeons, to ensure patients are well prepared for procedures and to ensure safe patient discharge. Ability to work well in a stressful, busy environment – position requires standing for long periods of time.
