Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:IV therapy initiation certificate. Excellent knowledge and skills regarding care and maintenance of various venous access devices. Advanced PICC experience required. Three to five years of recent clinical experience with demonstrated IV skills required. Effective interpersonal skills with excellent communication and proven teaching skill for both individual and group instruction/presentation. Excellent team building and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Three to five years of wound care experience preferred. Recent HPT experience preferred.
