Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Adult critical care nursing experience required. Adult Critical Care Nursing certificate required. Completion of an ICU course required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent assessment and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. One year of related experience preferred. Previous medical/surgical experience preferred. Monitor training preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred.
