Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:BScN is required. Completion (or nearing completion) of a Nursing Continence Advisor Certificate (NCA) Program, an Enterostomal Therapy(ET)/Nurse Specializing in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) Certificate from an accredited institution including clinical placement with preceptorship provided by an experienced certified NCA is required. At least three (3) years’ experience in a Urology/Gynecology/Women’s Health environment. Candidates must have experience in and a passion for nursing related to women’s health issues and a proven ability to work autonomously and effectively as a team member. The successful candidates will demonstrate superior verbal communication and interpersonal skills and have demonstrated an excellent ability to correspond and communicate with care providers and family members.
Preferred Qualifications:Master of Nursing with a clinical focus in women's health
