Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a Perioperative Nursing Certification course or minimum two years of recent operating room experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of a Perioperative Nursing Certification course preferred. Member in good standing with Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent assessment and organizational skills. Previous Charge experience in the Operating Room.
