Graduate of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA) and/or the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Ability to provide psychotherapy and counseling from a theory based eclectic perspective but within a short term solution focused model. Experience in Structured and Unstructured Groups: Psycho-dynamic, Cognitive, and Skills Training Groups. Proven organizational skills. Teaching, leadership and team building ability. Excellent problem solving and decision making skills. Proven written and verbal communication. Ability to facilitate conflict resolution.
