Minimum 3 years academic background in a research position (i.e. Research Coordinator/Assistant or another position within the research world) or equivalent required (i.e. experience conducting/coordinating research). Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office software as well as Microsoft Project required. Proficiency in data management software such as SPSS and INVIVO required. Highly developed speaking and writing skills required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and communication skills. Ability to work with limited supervision. Thorough knowledge of Covenant Health, Alberta Health Services, Albertan Universities and Government of Alberta. Professional, highly effective interpersonal & communication skills. Initiative and self-motivation. Discretion and confidentiality. Clear business and academic writing skills.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions and adhere to short timelines in completing projects. Demonstrate a professional level of tact, discretion and confidentiality. Ability to concentrate for long periods of time. Responsibility for proper operation of research and translational research projects.
Preferred Qualifications:Thesis-based Masters level preferred.
