Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a recognized Clinical Health Profession with active membership in a Professional College under the Alberta Health Professions Act. (Rehabilitation or a Nursing profession preferred). Minimum three (3) years recent experience in a Continuing Care setting in a clinical role. Exhibits strong clinical knowledge and skill in seniors care (Geriatrics, Continuing Care, Assisted Living, Designated Assisted Living, Long Term Care) or relevant specialty. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation B.L.S. Certification (Level C) Health Care Provider required.

Ability to provide leadership and function as a team member. Excellent organizational and conflict resolution skills. Ability to be objective in decision making. Commitment to safe, effective and ethical resident care and work practices. Commitment to Covenant Health Mission and Values. Proven dependability and accountability. Current Licensure or Membership with professional body.


Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience desired. Combination of education and experience may be considered. Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse preferred.
