Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse program required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Please note, this facility provides Long Term Care (LTC) or Designated Supportive Living (DSL) services and by Order of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, many Covenant Health employees are required to work only at a single LTC/DSL site for the remainder of the pandemic. If you are successful on a position with Covenant Health, the hiring manager will confirm if you will be required to work at only one LTC/DSL site in Alberta.

Ability to provide leadership and function as a team member. Excellent organizational and conflict resolution skills. Ability to be objective in decision making. Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience in a continuing care setting preferred. Certification in Gerontological nursing preferred. Master’s degree in Nursing or leadership preferred.
