Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or a related health discipline is required. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Certification in Basic Life Support (Level 3) from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of nursing experience, including previous charge nurse or leadership responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years’ management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and objective decision-making skills. Proven ability to perform in fast-paced, high-stress environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with leadership and teamwork capabilities. Exceptional organizational and conflict resolution skills. Commitment to safe, effective, and ethical patient care and work practices. Commitment to Covenant Health Mission and Values.
