Graduate of a recognized Register Nursing program required; Combination of education and experience may be considered. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Current Heart and Stroke BLS Certification (Level C) Health Care Provider required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Charge Nurse experience required. Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution and negotiation skills required. Demonstrated commitment to safe, ethical care and professional accountability is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree (BScN) preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of recent nursing experience preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of recent supervisory experience recommended.
