Description:

The Respiratory Therapist II coordinates, monitors and assesses the clinical services in their assigned area, and acts as a clinical resource for daily operations and the development of clinical protocols. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a recognized and accredited school of Respiratory Therapy program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration and member in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience providing clinical leadership, mentorship, and team support. Experience with respiratory assessments and patient-centered rehabilitation care. Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) required. 5 years experience as RT in a clinical setting. 2 years experience working in pulmonary rehab setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Zoom. Excellent Interpersonal Skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Strong critical thinking, assessment, and organizational skills. Strong problem solving and adaptability skills.
