Relevant education related to occupational health and safety required. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards in the health care field including a thorough knowledge of Alberta OHS Act, Regulation and Code required. Computer literacy in Access, Word, PowerPoint and spreadsheet programs required. Alberta Driver's License - Class V (Travel will be required).
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum two (2) years working experience in the Safety field that includes developing and implementing OHS programs and strategies preferred. Must possess excellent communication, report writing, interpersonal and public relation skills, problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to prioritize work within a fast paced environment. Current registration as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) desired.
