Required Qualifications:

One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of three [3] years secretarial experience required. Computer competencies at a professional level in MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point required - typing speed 50-60 wpm required. Excellent organizational, skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both in person and by telephone required. Ability to work independently with a minimum of direction or supervision. Proficiency of the English language required - agendas/minutes are of a consistent format and style; requiring excellent grammar, language spelling skills. Proven ability to manage and adjusts leadership calendars and schedules to meet priorities. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information shared at bi-weekly management and patient case review meetings. Ability to manage in a stressful, active work environment with frequent interruptions. Professional approach with reception duties required - Must handle all personal contacts with tact and diplomacy - good customer service skills. Ability to function in an environment of complexity and change. Ability to sit and use computer for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting Healthcare Leadership through Project management initiatives desired. Experience in developing initiative presentations desired. Experience producing statistical information posters desired. Hospital experience desired. Medical Terminology desired.
