Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Minimum of five years of experience in the communications field, specifically in issues management, media relations, government relations, and crisis communications, preferably in a corporate or healthcare environment. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a dynamic and challenging environment.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop proactive solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to navigate and facilitate difficult conversations and to foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner and display a high degree of judgement, discretion, and decision-making ability. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in corporate communications and issues management. Alignment with the mission and values of our organization.
