A baccalaureate degree in a related Health Sciences field, accompanied by a minimum of five years’ related leadership experience in a heavily unionized healthcare environment is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent operational and financial acumen. Demonstrated ability to champion and implement new operational initiatives. Excellent ability to mentor, coach and manage performance of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills. Proven planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills. Team building, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated ability to promote group decision making in an interdisciplinary program management model. Ability to work collaboratively with Alberta Health Services and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master’s degree is an asset.
