A Masters degree in a related Health Sciences field is required. The ideal candidate must have at least 8 to 10 years progressive experience in leading and managing Addictions and Mental Health programs and/or services, including financial and operational planning and staff supervision. We will consider a combination of equivalent experience and education. There are occasional travels involved in this role, thus, a valid drivers license is a requirement.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage resources in a complex environment. Proven planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills. Team building, problem solving and conflict resolution ability. Negotiating skills. Ability to promote group decision making in an interdisciplinary program management model. Demonstrated ability to build and foster collaboration with multiple stakeholders, caregivers, senior management and external agencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in addictions services in a community or healthcare setting. Experience creating or enhancing processes that support mental health & addiction programs within an organization.
