Completion of Grade 10 required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous Service Attendant experience required. Previous Portering experience in a hospital setting required. Previous experience with patient contact required. Written and verbal fluency in English language required.
Preferred Qualifications:Able to manage time, set priorities and keep a diary/schedule/ tracking mechanism of tasks completed. Able to follow verbal and written directions. Able to function as a member of a team and work cooperatively with others. Uses good body mechanics spending most of working time in walking, standing, lifting and bending positions,. Must maintain confidentiality of patient information. Must have an interest in working with and have a reassuring manner with patients/families.
