Description:

The Service Attendant supports the department by preforming the tasks of stocking, restocking, cleaning, and portering of equipment, supplies, and patients. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of recent experience working in an acute care setting. Experience cleaning medical equipment and safely handling blood and bodily fluids. Experience cleaning and preparing Operating Room theatres. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience working on a Labour and Delivery unit is preferred.
