Your Opportunity:
This position is being posted under a Service Worker Developmental Role designation. The successful candidate will be required to attain mandatory completion of a recognized MDRD Technician Course and followed by Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Certification. Once Certification is obtained (within 6 months after hire) the successful applicant will be transferred to a Surgical Processor designation. Please note: Classifications Under Review.

Description: The Service Worker works in a clinical environment supporting staff by working with equipment and supplies, including distributing, stocking, and cleaning. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working within an MDRD or Health Sector. Proficient in computer applications.
