Your Opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic and resident centered leader to join the Covenant Team as the Site Administrator (Site Manager) at Mary Immaculate Continuing Care Centre in charming Mundare, Alberta. This position will oversee the operations of Mary Immaculate Continuing Care including a 30 bed Long Term Care unit and the Life Opportunities mental health community support program. Strong communication skills, a proven ability to build a values driven team culture and success at maintaining quality care within resources are essential to this position. The site administrator is also key to ensuring site integrity and strong community relations. Mundare is a beautiful community located 70km east of Edmonton, 2km north of the Yellowhead Highway. Mundare is known for its strong agricultural roots, Ukrainian heritage, and the world's largest garlic sausage monument. Founded in 1907, it offers a quiet, community-focused lifestyle with local recreational facilities, including a hockey arena, curling rink and golf course. Please note: Travel is required, and may include the use of a personal vehicle. A standard driver s abstract may also be required for use of corporate lease vehicles.
Description:
The Site Administrator is responsible for the operational and administrative management of Mary Immaculate Continuing Care Centre and is a representative of Covenant Health within the local community. The Site Administrator sets clinical direction in conjunction with physician leadership and the resident care manager, champions quality improvement and client safety, and monitors performance and trends in order to drive continuous improvement within their facility. The Site Administrator manages the financial, human and physical resources of the facility, overseeing key performance indicators and resolving operational issues at the unit, program, and site level. The Site Administrator serves as the first point of contact for the Community Board, engaging with local community leaders and attending community events, as well as working with the Covenant Foundation to support fundraising opportunities for the facility. The Site Administrator collaborate with all integrated services leadership to ensure site integrity. This position is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in health care discipline or business/administration required. Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years progressive health care management experienced required. Demonstrated experience in operational planning and leadership. Experience at a senior level in hospital administration within a multi-union environment. Experience in the rural and continuing care sector. Experience in financial accountability.
