Required Qualifications:

A baccalaureate degree in a health care discipline or business/administration, supplemented with a minimum of four (4) years progressive health care management experience in a multi-union environment is required. Current or recent management in acute care. Active registration with professional college or association (as applicable). Please note, this facility provides Long Term Care (LTC) or Designated Supportive Living (DSL) services and by Order of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, many Covenant Health employees are required to work only at a single LTC/DSL site for the remainder of the pandemic. If you are successful on a position with Covenant Health, the hiring manager will confirm if you will be required to work at only one LTC/DSL site in Alberta.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in management, program leadership, problem solving, group facilitation, operational and strategic planning and quality improvement. Experience at a senior level in health care administration in the rural acute care. Experience in financial accountability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with computer literacy. Ability to respond in an innovative way to the evolving nature of health care. Strong organizational, change management and conflict resolution skills, with ability to function as a team member to achieve shared goals. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning within own leadership and with staff.


Preferred Qualifications:

A Master’s degree is an asset.
