Must have a related post-secondary Degree in Nursing or other health related discipline along with a current membership with a regulated healthcare professional body. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a complex acute care hospital setting with a minimum of three years leadership experience. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C is required. Good communication and technological skills are required, along with the ability to independently make difficult decisions. The ability to work and manage independently along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to help motivate a team are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
A master’s degree in nursing, Health Administration, Public Health Leadership or Business is preferred. Experience at the GN/MCH in ED and in Bed Management/Allocation would be an asset.
