Graduate of a Social Work program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:With current acute care experience (Medicine, Surgery, Emergency, Mental Health) required. May require inter-site or inter-community travel. Frequent need to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; as well as frequent need to concentrate on precise and detailed work. Will be required to participate intensive and challenging patient situations and expected to deal with the public in diverse situations. Must be able to tolerate psychologically stressful situations and high amounts of pressure. Effective time management and prioritization skills are required. Proven conflict resolution and strong communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:At least one year of acute care experience is considered an asset. Facility-based experience is also an asset. Computer proficiency including Microsoft office tools is preferred. Working knowledge of Medworxx preferred.
