Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Social Work program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of related experience required. Heart and Stoke Foundation BLS, Level C, Healthcare Provider. Understanding of community integration and resources. Knowledge of relevant legislation. Knowledge of challenges in providing supports with limited resources. Position may include significant periods of time sitting while interviewing patients/families, on the phone or at a computer. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; as well as the ability to concentrate on precise and detailed work. Ability to participate in sensitive and challenging patient situations and expected to deal with the public in diverse situations. Must be able to tolerate psychologically stressful situations and high amounts of pressure. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent acute care experience in geriatric psychiatry preferred.
