Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Social Work program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be capable of establishing and maintaining good working relationships with the interdisciplinary team, patients/families and other stakeholders. Requires ability to manage high levels of stress, ethical tensions and the like. Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a continuing care setting preferred. Ability to diplomatically address patient/family concerns. Evidence of continuous learning. Is required to spend considerable time standing, walking and in close supportive contact with patients.
