Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Social Work program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years prior Social Work experience. Training & experience in mental health assessments and therapy, including CBT, DBT, and solution focused therapy. Training and experience in Perinatal Mental Health. This position requires a high degree of independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize workload on a daily basis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience working within a healthcare environment is an asset. In-depth knowledge of Income Support programs at a community/provincial/federal level (AISH, Alberta Works, CPP, OAS, ASB) is preferred. Knowledge of community resources and financial supports will be an asset. Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Teams is preferred. EMR training in Netcare and Connect Care.
