Graduate of a Social Work program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Position will include significant periods of time sitting while interviewing patients/families, on the phone or at a computer. May require inter-site or inter-community travel. Frequent need to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; as well as the frequent need to concentrate on precise and detailed work. Will be required to participate in sensitive and challenging patient situations and expected to deal with the public in diverse situations. Must be able to tolerate psychologically stressful situations and high amounts of pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to current acute-care Social worker II candidates, and those with a lot of availability.
