Your Opportunity:

As an integral member of the IRSM interdisciplinary team, the Speech-Language Pathologist II is responsible for providing: perceptual and instrumental speech assessment with outcomes documentation; radiological and endoscopic assessment of swallowing with outcomes documentation; direct patient-focused therapeutic care, continued development of clinical functional assessments in IRSM based on patient requirements and the information required for improved clinical management.

The Speech Language Pathologist II provides identification, assessment, planning, coordination and delivery of care services to clients and families affected by communication and swallowing disorders.

Required Qualifications:

Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology is required. Member in good standing of the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience dealing with patients with defects of the head and neck required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must have a working knowledge of relevant computer applications. MBSImP certification required prior to or at start of position. Knowledge of research methods and statistical techniques. Must be a team player.
