Description:

The Stores Attendant performs a variety of tasks associated with the picking, packaging, shipping and receiving of materials, supplies and equipment. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent is required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Competence in a computerized environment is required with preference to applicants that have current experience utilizing the inventory modules functions under Oracle. Must have current and relevant inventory management experience/education and warehouse equipment experience motorized pallet jack is desirable. The ability to follow oral and written instructions and make basic mathematical calculations is necessary. The capability to work within established routines is essential. The successful candidate must be able to complete physical tasks including considerable amounts of standing and walking, bending, stooping, reaching for and carrying material, and heavy lifting, pushing and pulling. Must be able to read write and speak English. Candidates without submission of resumes will not qualify for an interview.
