Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology OR.


Additional Required Qualifications:

5 - 10 years of analytics experience within the Alberta healthcare system. 3 - 5 years of experience with SQL, SQL Server and Oracle. 3 - 5 years of experience with Tableau. Broad-based skills and ability to analyse, summarise and interpret complex data. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in creating and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to liaise with a range of healthcare professionals, scientific and regulatory specialists. Knowledge of applicable regulatory considerations, as it relates to but is not limited to the utilization and access of health information from a research, operational and legislative perspective (Health Information Act, FOIPP).


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Infection, Prevention and Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship reporting methods and data sets. Experience with Pharmacy related (Meditech, BDM) or PIN data sets. Experience with NACRS and DAD data sets. Experience in qualitative research methods preferred. Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Health Sciences or applicable discipline preferred.
