Required Qualifications:

Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. BScN or BPN required. Demonstrates excellent skills in the area of mental health, complex medical needs, and knowledge transfer required. 2 to 3 years recent clinical supervision required. 2 to 3 years acute care experience in medicine and/or mental health required. 2 to 3 years’ experience working with complex behaviors, traumatic brain injury and Axis II traits required. Must have an appreciation for inter-professional collaboration required.

As Required.


Preferred Qualifications:

PIECES training preferred. Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training preferred. Experience with Rai-MDS 2.0 preferred. Mental health designation preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in stressful situation. Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors.
