Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 diploma. Completion of 2 year Food Service Management course or equivalent management training. Food Safe certificate required. Minimum 2 years recent experience in a supervisory role. Minimum 3 years experience in a related healthcare or institutional setting. Experience in employee scheduling. Experience in conducting satisfaction surveys and quality audits. Experience in customer relations.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to contribute and function as a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in office procedures and computer applications in a Windows environment, email, internet and staff scheduling programs. Current knowledge and comprehension of dietary guidelines and food services terminology.

Preferred Qualifications:

WHMIS certificate. Member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Management. Member of CAFP (Canadian Association of Food Service Professionals). Working knowledge of collective agreements.
