Required Qualifications:

Completion of a two year Food Service Management course or equivalent management training required. Food Safe certificate required. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, fluent in English.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years recent experience in a supervisory capacity required. Minimum 3 years experience of related health care experience, required. (Experience in all sectors preferred: Production, Patient Meal Service, Environmental Services). Experience in employee scheduling required. Experience in conducting customer satisfaction surveys/quality audits required. Experienced in customer relations required. Working knowledge of therapeutic diets required. Previous WHIMS training.


Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in office procedures and computer applications in a Windows environment including word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, Email, Internet and staff scheduling programs. Working knowledge of interpreting collective agreements. Demonstrated ability in coaching, teaching and facilitating. Current knowledge and comprehension of dietary guidelines and food services terminology. Excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safe work practices and Hazard Identification
