Completion of a two year Food Service Management course or equivalent management training required. Food Safe certification required. Two years recent supervisory experience of food services and environmental services in a health care environment required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in employee scheduling of departments of significant size required. Working knowledge of therapeutic diets and texture modified diets required. Experience in customer relations and customer satisfaction required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registration with CSNM. Proficiency in office procedures and computer applications in a Windows environment including word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, Email, Internet and staff scheduling programs. Working knowledge of interpreting collective agreements. Demonstrated ability in coaching, teaching and facilitating. Current knowledge and comprehension of dietary guidelines and food services terminology. Excellent interpersonal skills.
