Minimum three years of leadership experience in a health care setting. Diploma/degree in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Service Management or Dietary Technology. Leadership experience in a unionized health care environment. Time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet time-lines and to independently prioritize work with attention to detail and accuracy. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Very detail-oriented individual and a strong team player. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office. Knowledgeable hiring, scheduling and directing work to assigned employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
Food safe certified. Proven financial management skills including ability to control product and labor costs. Strong motivator, mentor and leader. Member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Management. Experience with Kronos scheduling system.
