Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses Alberta. BScN or BPN required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrates excellent skills in the area of mental health, complex medical needs, and knowledge transfer. 2 to 3 years recent clinical Supervision. 2 to 3 years acute care experience in medicine and/or mental health. 2 to 3 years’ experience working with complex behaviors, traumatic brain injury and Axis II Traits. Must have an appreciation for inter-professional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pieces training. Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training. Experience with RAI-MDS 2.0 Mental Health designation. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in stressful situation. Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors.
