Current Alberta Journeyman Certificate in one or more building trades; Mechanical Structural or Electrical and/or a Current Third-Class Power Engineering Certificate. Qualifications deemed to be equivalent may also be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Five years' experience at the Journeyman Trade or Third-Class Power Engineering with a minimum of two years supervisory experience in a union hospital or similar setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current working knowledge of building code requirements for a hospital or similar setting. Working knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system. Proficiency in Microsoft computer programs specifically; Outlook, Word. Ability to identify and customize communication to various levels.
