Proficiency in office procedures and computer applications in a Windows environment including word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, Email, Internet and staff scheduling programs. Demonstrated ability in coaching, teaching and facilitating. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated and self-directed. Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality assurance. Strong organizational skills. Excellent time management skills. Demonstrated ability to contribute and function as part of a team. Supports a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Displays a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Able to handle multiple demands concurrently. Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years recent experience in a supervisory capacity, required. Minimum 3 years' experience of related health care experience, required. Experience in employee scheduling, required. Experience in conducting customer satisfaction surveys/quality audits, required. Experienced in customer relations, required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a two-year Food Service Management course or equivalent management training preferred. Food Safe certificate, preferred. Working knowledge of interpreting collective agreements. Current knowledge and comprehension of hospital cleaning guidelines and familiarity with cleaning chemicals used in the healthcare setting. Current knowledge and comprehension of dietary guidelines and food services terminology.
