A minimum of three years’ experience in an Environmental Services Supervisory Leadership role preferred, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity with responsibilities for hiring, scheduling, and directing the work of assigned employees in a unionized environment. Proven organizational, time-management, and decision making skills. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development, proven initiative, and self-motivation skills. Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional Required Qualifications:
The Supervisor is also responsible for: Pest Control Program within the facility. Site Implementation of the waste management program and practices. Providing input on facility renovations, furnishing purchases and upholstery replacement. Overseeing repair and/or replacement of window and bedside draperies of at the facility, working with the site to find replacement funding. Ensuring Quality Audits are conducted at the specified frequency and that recommendations and follow up actions are taken as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Environmental Services Management. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Oracle, ESP and e-People/PeopleSoft experience preferred.
