Required Qualifications:

A minimum of three years experience in a an Environmental Services Supervisory role or Food Service Supervisory Leadership role or Leadership in role preferred, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity with responsibilities for hiring, scheduling, and directing the work of assigned employees in a unionized environment. Proven organizational, time-management, and decision making skills. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development, proven initiative, and self-motivation skills. Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Oracle, ESP and e-People/PeopleSoft experience preferred. Experience: Previous experience in the performance and co-ordination of linen services and housekeeping duties in a hospital or other large institutional setting. Certification in Alberta Health Services Environmental Services Quality Auditing. Previous experience in supervising, leading and coordinating staff focus on diverse teams which are unionized. Extensive experience and knowledge in the use of all linen & housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
