Successful completion of a Medical Device Reprocessing Program (including successful completion of practicum placement) required A Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Medical Device Reprocessing Certification required
Additional Qualifications:Grade 12 or recognized equivalent required. Successful completion of a recognized Sterile Processor/Technician course required, including the practicum portion. CMDRT certification required. One (1) year related experience within the last five (5) years required. Must be proficient in the use of the English language to including reading writing speaking and comprehension. Must meet Physical demands of bending, reaching, stooping, standing for long periods of time and repetitive lifting of up to 30 lbs. Must have Physical ability to use 25 lbs. force to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs. Must be able to recognize and maintain confidential information. Must be able to work well independently and within a team environment. Must be available for all shifts. Maintain an understanding of and adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures.
